Ironworkers Local 377 is committed to the Helmets to Hardhats program. Helmets to Hardhats is a program that helps veterans transition to a career in the construction trades with priority.

All Veterans who have been discharged within the last 10 years are eligible for entry via the Helmets to Hardhats program. When coming to apply the veteran needs to provide a copy of his/her DD-214 discharge paperwork.

Ironworkers Local 377 provides second-to-none training for its apprentices who are up for the challenge. Our program’s hands-on learning, classroom instruction and job-site experience all come together to provide our apprentices with the most comprehensive education in the ironworking crafts.

Chartered in 1921 as a mixed local, Ironworkers Local 377 proudly represents over 3,000 men and women engaged in the iron working industry in the greater San Francisco Bay Area and North Coast.
